Q. From what materials are the Safety Bath bathtubs made?
A. The So-Lo and So-Lo with Heated Shower Deck are acrylic. The
Serenity, Stretch and Supreme are made from marine grade fiberglass.
Q. How high is the step into your bathtubs?
A. Safety Bath Inc. understands that the height of the entry step into
the bathtub limits accessibility and is proud to offer a very low step. The
Serenity/Stretch and the Supreme are 2" above the bathroom floor. The So-Lo has a 3" step.
Q. What is the warranty?
A. Safety Bath Inc. has a lifetime warranty on the door seal. Five year warranty on the bathtub, door handle and latching mechanism.
Q. Do Safety Bath bathtubs have CSA and UL certification?
A. Safety Bath Inc. has CSA (Canadian Standards Association) and
ANSI(American National Standards Institute)/UL(Underwriters Laboratories)
approval on the bathtubs and on all the components of the bathtub. CSA marks
mean a product has been tested and has met applicable standards for safety
and/or performance. CSA International is accredited by the Occupational
Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing
Laboratory (NRTL). CSA International tests to applicable U.S. standards.

Q. Are your products wheelchair accessible?
A. An individual that can use a walker can access Safety Bath bathtubs. To
accommodate wheelchair users, a lift would be required and individual
circumstances would have to be considered.
Q. Do you offer any products that will make my existing bathtub accessible?
A. Yes, Safety Bath Inc. now offers a Door Insert Kit and a Custom Safety
Seat /Transfer Bench which can be installed in your existing bathtub to make
